Sedgely Farms Real Estate

This is another interesting real estate community. Sedgely Farms is an older community where many of the homes were built on multi-acre sites. Because the location is so good, a number of the older homes have been sold to builders, who have subsequently sub divided lots off and frequently torn down the original homes. The new homes tend to be much larger on smaller lots than the older homes. As you can imagine, this has left a bad taste in the mouths of long time residents living in the original homes. The zoning is only half acre so there is not much the residents can do - plus of course, the newer residents like the way prices go up. Even the older residents don't seem to mind as much when they sell. With entrances off Lancaster Pike (Route 48) and Centerville Road, this is a very nice community.
