Pentland Real Estate

Pentland Real Estate

Pentland has had it's share of well known local figures. It is a real estate community of gorgeous large and even larger homes on 2 or more acres. This community was the work of Spencer Qualls, the original developer, who still lives there. Dick Vague (president of First USA) built the largest privately held home in northern Delaware at a little over 20,000 square feet. There are only 6 homes in the county over 15,000 square feet. Mr. Vague lived there for quite a while (but no longer). Other former well known Pentland names include wall street wonder Kid Mark Yagalla, author of "Wall Street Joyride - the Prodigy, the Playmate, and the missing $50 million". He moved from Pentland to Pensacola Federal Prison. The location off Snuff Mill Road across the road from L'Hermitage is quite convenient to Centreville.
