North Wilmington Real Estate and Information

The North Wilmington/Brandywine/Arden area has the highest percentage of “locals” in northern Delaware. It is known for convenience and amenities. Most of the homes were built after World War 2 in boom years for Dupont Company. There is very little new construction as the area was built out as farm after farm was sold to developers. While there are many exceptions, the most popular homes in this area are a 2 story colonial. Commute times to area corporations are reasonable and the public school test scores are amongst the best in the area. Route 202 also known as Concord Pike is the main commercial center of north Wilmington. It contains the Concord Mall (our second largest), Trader Joe’s, and so many popular restaurants.
